How to Apply
The Global Health Field Research Award (GHFRA) is a student fellowship that supports research experience in the U.S. or abroad to address global health issues. Awardees will receive a $3,500 grant.
To apply, students must identify a project and a researcher willing to include them within one of their existing projects. Applicants planning to undertake a project involving human subjects research activities must have approval from the IRB.

Application Instructions: Students should review their self-initiated projects in detail. Applicants must complete the following:

1. Completed Application/Commitment Form
2. Project Narrative prepared in the format outlined in the Announcement
3. Unofficial Academic Transcript

1. Signed recommendations
* Primary faculty advisor
* Second recommendation
2. Signed In-Country Host letter
Please do not submit hard copies.
The 2014 cycle is closed. Signed recommendations and host letter are required on the due date.
