About the Award The Global Health Established Field Placement (GHEFP) is a relatively new pilot program established in the Spring of 2010. Like the GHFRA the objective of the program is to enhance the recruitment of students into global health research and practice careers by providing them the means to work with global health mentors and to attain international cross-cultural field experience. All students who wish to be considered for the GHEFP must apply for posted situations. Grants of up to $3,500 are awarded to the students selected by the placement sites. As a pilot program GHEFP is open to undergraduate and graduate students of the Johns Hopkins University. MPH students are not eligible to apply. Please see the GHFRA announcement for full details.
