Fulbright  Council for International Exchange of Scholars (CIES): (From COS) This program offers faculty the opportunity for  lecturing or research abroad and to make a major contribution to global understanding. This grant iis for lecturing, lecturing and research, or research. Grantees will give workshops or hold short-term seminars in various higher education institutions. Undertake research. Lecturers and lecturer/researchers will be expected to give at least one presentation a month in their area of expertise and at least one a month that relates to the United States. Individual programs will be arranged for senior professionals based on their proposals. Activity Location: Pakistan. Deadline: August 1, 2007.

The awardee will assist in the development and revision of existing curriculum in medicine; conduct faculty and staff training and workshops on curriculum; and conduct research with faculty. Specializations are system-based integration and problem-based curriculum.Activity Location: Sri Lanka.  Deadline: August 1, 2007.
