The Global Health Bulletin Scholarships/Fellowships Josephine de Karman Fellowships: Students in any discipline entering the senior undergraduate year or a candidate for a Ph.D. who will defend their dissertation by June, 2008 are eligible to apply. The fellowship is open to foreign students already enrolled in a university located in the United States. International Development Research Centre (IDRC) Internship Awards: IDRC Internship Awards provide exposure to research for international development through a program of training in research management and grant administration under the guidance of IDRC program staff. The internship is designed to provide hands-on learning experiences in research program management: in the creation, dissemination, and utilization of knowledge from an international perspective. Lambarene Schweitzer Fellows Program: The Albert Schweitzer Fellowship will select four medical students to spend three months working as fellows at the Albert Schweitzer Hospital in Lambarene, Gabon on clinical rotations. Fellows work as junior physicians,supervised by Schweitzer Hospital medical staff. Note: Hopkins is a participating organization. Leverhulme Trust Study Abroad Studentships: The Study Abroad Studentships supports postgraduate and postdoctoral scholars from the UK. The studentships provide an extended period of advanced study or research at a centre of learning overseas (except the USA).
