Integrated Preclinical/Clinical Program for HIV Topical Microbicides (U19): (RFA-AI-07-001) Letters of Intent Receipt Date: February 26, 2007. Application Receipt Date: March 26, 2007. Framework Program in Global Health- Predoctoral Research Fellowships: Johns Hopkins announces a new program to support fellowships for short-term research experiences to address global health issues. The objective is to enhance the recruitment of diverse students into research and practice careers in global health. The program is supported by the National Institutes of Health’s Fogarty International Center and the Johns Hopkins Center for Global Health. Open to all JHU undergraduate and graduate students. Note new deadline for submission: December 1, 2006. Croucher Foundation Fellowships: The awards are intended to enable students of outstanding promise who are permanent residents of Hong Kong to devote themselves to a period of full-time research in natural science, medicine, or technology in approved academic institutions outside Hong Kong. Deadline: November 16, 2006. Paul and Daisy Soros Fellowships for New Americans: The program is open to individuals who retain loyalty and a sense of commitment to their country of origin as well as to the United States, but is intended to support individuals who will continue to regard the United States as their principal residence and focus of national identity.
