New nurse seeks a volunteer opportunity. A new graduate of the JHSON is seeking a 4-6 week volunteer experience in Africa between August and late September. Emily Ramshur is a former Peace Corps volunteer (Guinea) who speaks English, French, and Pulaar (West African language). Emily would be able to pay her own airfare. However, she would need food and lodging; she says these could be very minimal accommodations and would even be open to a home-stay with a local family. Her interests are Refugee Health and Infectious Disease, but is very flexible and enthusiastic about a variety of health-related aims. Anyone who knows of an opportunity may contact Emily directly at jaajafatou@yahoo.com. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Do you have colleague who might wish to receive these announcements?
