Research and Professional Experience
My research interest related to Center for Global Health is my passion for international geriatric medicine program development. As human race is aging rapidly worldwide, this has increasingly become important and urgent. One major project that I lead is the international collaboration between Hopkins and Peking Union Medical College (PUMC) in Beijing, China to establish a premier geriatric medicine and aging research program at PUMC. This project is funded by China Medical Board, a private foundation based in New York City.
My other significant interests in clinical and translational research include frailty, inflammation, aging and immunity, and influenza immunization.
