Data

Background[1]

Located in Northern North America along the North Atlantic Ocean, North Pacific Ocean, and the Arctic Ocean, Canada is the world's second largest country after Russia and is a land of rich natural resources with 90% of its population within 160 km to the United States border. It became a self-governing dominion in 1867 and parallels the United States economically and technologically. Currently, Canada aims to develop energy resources healthy for the environment, respond to francophone Quebec's demands, and improve the quality of health care and education services.
