Focus at Hopkins: Molecular Microbiology and Immunology

Goals: to work in the field as a clinician and researcher

Sachin Srinivasan was initially inspired by one of his professors to pursue public health research on indoor air pollution and other problems of developing nations to enter into contests. This work captured his interest and led him to the Hopkins program in Molecular Microbiology and Immunology. He hopes to focus on the existing control and prevention strategies of microbial diseases, and to gain insight into the immunological basis of many dreadful cancers in the world today. His ultimate dream is “to make this world the best place to live!”
