In the spring of 2007, Center for Global Health Director Thomas Quinn and Associate Director Chris Beyrer joined with Hopkins students to circulate and sign the Philadelphia Consensus Statement, a national Universities Allied for Essential Medicines policy document advocating humanitarian access licensing and increased funding for research in neglected diseases.
