Global Health Events and Seminars

The Center for Global Health and Johns Hopkins University offer a variety of training courses in a number of subject areas related to global health.

Global Health Day
Global Health Day is an annual event held to allow students to present their overseas work to their fellow students and faculty. The day includes speakers, poster presentations, and awards ceremonies. The last Global Health Day was April 3, 2013.

Global Health Leaders Forum
The Global Health Leaders Forum is a speakers series where leaders in the field come to the Hopkins campus and speak about their experiences in global health. See the speakers who have participated in this popular series.

International Travel Orientation
Designed for students interested in applying for the Center for Global Health's GHEFP & GHFRA programs, this orientation introduces students to common issues associated with global health work in developing countries. This year, the orientation was held in Becton Dickinson Hall (Wolfe St. JHSPH building, Rm W1020) on February 01, 2013 from 12:00 PM - 1:15 PM.
