>> Back to all 2007 Headlines July 1, 2007 The Johns Hopkins Center for Global Health recently announced their Framework Program in Global Health award winners for the spring of 2007. Fourteen current Hopkins students were selected to receive the awards, which range in value from $3,000-$5,000. The objective of the Framework Program in Global Health is to enhance the recruitment of students into global health research and practice careers by providing them the means to work with faculty mentors and to travel overseas to gain valuable experience. All students submitted a research project proposal based in an international location to be considered for the award. Consistent with the program's goal to support students in a wide range of disciplines necessary to respond to today's global health challenges, this group of fourteen awardees features students pursuing degrees in a variety of fields.
